This is an opinionated talk to spur discussions.

Many areas against which software development is commonly compared to, like architecture and engineering disciplines, are based on natural laws. The talk looks at properties of natural laws and how they were utilized in the last thousand years of history and as well look at their limitations. Together with the audience we will look for equivalent structures in software development. What the implication of their (non)existence, and what to do about it? Are there general principles models or lag, which are accepted? And how can the 'Scientific Approach help'?
