With the release of Xamarin 3, a new API has been added to the product named Xamarin.Forms. Xamarin.Forms is a cross-platform natively backed UI toolkit abstraction that allows developers to easily create user interfaces that can be shared across Android, iOS, and Windows Phone. With Forms, building your apps’ UI will be much faster and easier to do.
In this session, we’ll take you through the new platform. We’ll look, among others, at which controls are available, how you should set up your project and how you can build pages for specific platforms where needed. Of course, you’ll also learn about the ability to build your UIs with XAML!
